2011 looks like it’s going to be a very good year for Alexa Nikolas. The reason is because she has multiple projects in the works. Alexa kicked off the year by appearing on the popular show Lie to Me. She was a guest star in the episode “Funhouse.” In this episode, she played Amanda Dobar.

In addition to kicking off the year on television, she is involved with three different movies. The first is Red State. In this movie, she plays a girl named Jesse. Red State is a thriller style movie that centers around a group of Midwestern teens who receive sexual invitations online. However, they find out that these invitations aren’t what they seem. This movie was written and directed by Kevin Smith. While it has less than 1,000 votes on IMDB, so far the overall sentiment has been good with a rating of 6.5.

Alexa’s next 2011 movie is LOL. This is a PG-13 comedy. It’s about high schoolers who not only have to deal with the pressures of real life, but also with the digital world. Although this movie hasn’t been released yet, it features quite a few big names. These include Miley Cyrus, Ashley Greene, Demi Moore and Gina Gershon.

While she will be working on it in 2011, Alexa’s other movie won’t actually come out until 2012. This movie is called Detention of the Dead. While the name sounds scary, it’s actually a comedy. The great thing about this movie is that Alexa is the top-billed actress! She will be playing a girl named Willow who is part of a group of students in detention who have to deal with some of their peers turning into zombies.
