In addition to kicking off the year on television, she is involved with three different movies. The first is Red State. In this movie, she plays a girl named Jesse. Red State is a thriller style movie that centers around a group of Midwestern teens who receive sexual invitations online. However, they find out that these invitations aren’t what they seem. This movie was written and directed by Kevin Smith. While it has less than 1,000 votes on IMDB, so far the overall sentiment has been good with a rating of 6.5.

Alexa’s next 2011 movie is LOL. This is a PG-13 comedy. It’s about high schoolers who not only have to deal with the pressures of real life, but also with the digital world. Although this movie hasn’t been released yet, it features quite a few big names. These include Miley Cyrus, Ashley Greene, Demi Moore and Gina Gershon.

While she will be working on it in 2011, Alexa’s other movie won’t actually come out until 2012. This movie is called Detention of the Dead. While the name sounds scary, it’s actually a comedy. The great thing about this movie is that Alexa is the top-billed actress! She will be playing a girl named Willow who is part of a group of students in detention who have to deal with some of their peers turning into zombies.

Hopefully we are not going to see another Jamie Lynn Spears happen again in the case of Alexa Nikolas. Jamie was pregnant at the age of sixteen years and her status as a role model was crushed. Alexa has still got the perfect reputation of being a potential role model to the children because of her characteristics like confidence, charisma and a nice personality.

It was the TV show Zoey 101 which helped Alexa to become famous however her acting skills and positive attitude will help her go further done the track. Jamie Lynn Spears was also a co-star on the Zoey 101 series. Because of the fighting between Alexa and Jamie, Alexa was eventually fired from the Zoey 101 series partly because of the influence of Britney Spears, sister of Jamie.

Hidden Valley was her next big chance and the producers had Alexa in many of the series. In 2005, Revelation was the next series that Alexa was involved in however this was rather short lived. At the age of 7 years old Alexa appeared in the movie Punks which is basically your typical teen superhero movie which did very well on the American big screen. Two years later she received a minor role in the still legendary movie Zoolander. Moving from comedy to horror Alexa found herself being asked to play a support role in Children of the Corn which was one horror film which must be seen. Her line up still goes on and her future looks bright however all her fans are hoping that Alexa Nikolas will be a strong role model for them as well as for their own daughters.

The audience was first introduced to Alexa in the pilot episode of Zoey 101, when Zoey was shown her dorm room and met her two new roommates, Nicole and Dana, who would become Zoey’s best friends. Despite personal problems that she may have been having on set, Alexa Nikolas received multiple awards for her time on the show. In both 2006 and 2007, Alexa was nominated, and won, the award for Best Young Ensemble Performance for her time on Zoey 101.

Emily Barber is one of the characters which Alexa plays a main role with in the 17 episode long Hidden Hills series. Even though the show did not go on for any more series other than the first 17 episodes many people remember watching the program. Series and TV show take good advantage of Alexa Nikolas for the next few years as her resume for TV appearances. In 2009 at the age of 17 she stars in a major horror film the remake of the Children of the Corn which is a common cable movie to watch. 2009 held many opportunities for Alexa when she starred in the horror movie as well as making four other appearances. The popular Supernatural series as well as Heroes were some of the shows she appeared in that year. In 2010 when she is 18 years old Alexa will be making another appearance Zoey 101 series however this time it will be called Zoey 102.

Alexa started her career in 1999 when she was only 7 years old including a part in the second generation of the Love boat which did not go as well as the first series. Two years later Alexa had a small role in the movie Zoolander which was a comedy movie released that year. Later another part which she is well known for in the Zoey series was offered to Alexa which lasted for several season. At 16 years old Alexa appeared in the drama crimes solving series Cold Case and then the next year appeared in the crime series CSI Miami. Ghost Whisperer, Supernatural and Hero’s are just some of the many roles that Alexa has had lately however nothing substantial which would give her more than one appearance per show.
